Welcome to The Leap Center

The Leap Center is an abilities-inclusive community center thoughtfully designed to support children and youth with autism and other developmental disabilities. We provide a warm, welcoming space where neurodiversity is celebrated and every child is encouraged to grow, connect, and thrive.

We proudly offer Neurodiverse After-School Programs, Saturday / School Break Camps, and LEAP Camp our Summer Day Camp, with a strong emphasis on social-recreational programming aligned with Regional Center values. Our Approach

At The Leap Center, we believe the best support happens when families and programs work together. We take time to get to know your child—their strengths, interests, and needs—and partner closely with you to ensure they feel safe, supported, and successful.

Our social recreation–focused programs offer children the opportunity to choose from enriching activities such as gardening, sports, arts and crafts, STEM, dramatic arts, and more. We also partner with local social recreation–focused organizations to host engaging pop-up experiences at our center. These activities may include yoga, cooking classes, dance and movement, music exploration, mindfulness, and other creative and cultural experiences, giving children exciting opportunities to try something new in a familiar, supportive space.

We focus on:

01

Friendship building and positive peer relationships

02

Social-emotional growth, including communication, cooperation, and self-confidence

03

Choice and independence, allowing children to explore what excites them

04

Consistent routines and caring support that help children feel secure.
