LEAP Camp: An AUTISM FRIENDLY and NEURODIVERSE Summer Day Camp Where Curiosity Leaps Into Fun, Friendship , Creativity and Adventure
LEAP Camp is a neurodiverse summer day camp designed for children and youth ages 5 to 15 years. We welcome campers of all abilities, with specialized support for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our engaging and enriching program inspires curiosity, through hands-on learning, creative expression, movement, and exploration—all within a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child thrives.
Each session is thoughtfully structured to support social development, independence, and confidence, while honoring each child’s unique strengths, needs, and learning style. We partner closely with families to ensure every camper feels seen, supported, and successful.
Leap Camp Daily Experience
Morning Kickoff Circle
We begin each day by building community, greeting one another, reviewing the day’s theme and activities, and helping campers feel grounded and ready. Visual supports and predictable routines set everyone up for success.
Creative Studio / Builder’s Hub / Nature Lab
Campers engage in hands-on, guided activities tied to their session theme:
- Creative Arts & Expression: Art, music, movement, and storytelling.
- Nature Explorers: Gardening, sensory nature play, and discovery.
- Creative Builders & Inventors: STEM challenges, building, and design
- Activities are flexible so all campers can participate at their level.
Recharge Break
Campers pause for a nut-free snack to refuel. This is also a time to practice independence, communication, and social connection in a supportive setting.
Exploration Lab
Campers dive deeper into the day’s theme through interactive, small-group or individualized activities. This block encourages curiosity, experimentation, and skill-building with plenty of choice and support.
Lunch & Choice Time
Campers enjoy lunch followed by guided free play. Options include quiet sensory activities, creative play, or social games, supporting a range of interests and energy levels.
Adventure & Movement Time
Campers head outdoors (or to a gross motor space) for movement-based activities. This may include nature walks, group games, obstacle courses, or imaginative play connected to the session theme.
Reflection Circle & Celebration
We close the day by reflecting on experiences, celebrating accomplishments, and previewing what’s ahead. Campers can share in their own way, verbally, visually, or through their creations.

Leap Camp Sessions
Session 1 June 8th – June 19th: Creative Builders & Inventors
Campers become designers, engineers, and problem-solvers as they build, experiment, and create. Younger campers explore through open-ended building and simple challenges, while older campers take on more advanced projects, teamwork roles, and design thinking activities. This session encourages innovation, collaboration, and confidence as campers bring their ideas to life.
